Course Purpose:
The purpose of the Babysitter’s Training program is for 11-16 year old individuals to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety and emergency response. The Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED add-on prepares these young teens to prepare and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies.
